At the time I am typing out this story, I am 3 hours, 20 minutes post-first-tattoo. Wow. I just cleaned it and applied the ointment and I have my toes crossed that I won't screw it up. I got it done at Skin Deep in Lewiston, ID, which was not my first choice. I am very happy about the overall look, placement....the only thing that's holding me back from crossing into sheer bliss, is the coloring. I was hoping for just a hint of color in the edges, faded out in the middle. I figured that if it is still bothering me in a few months, that can be fixed.

The design itself was inspired by a piece I found online that I had changed to fit what I was looking for. There's no special meaning behind it, I have just always loved stars and I figured that's an easy one to start with.
